MDTechVideos 12,937 Nov 01, 2017 · I confirmed this on all 3 hypervisors: While Windows Update Service is stuck in the "stopping" state, I uninstalled the Veaam Agent for Windows and immediately afterwards the Windows Update service returned to "running" state and has not gotten stuck again since. Even rebooted the servers to confirm. Seems to be fixed.
