Oct 23, 2018 · I have a client with a brand new retail MacBook (not corporate owned or issued). The company uses a SonicWall SSL VPN. The SonicWall appliance is a TZ600 running SonicOS 6.2.7.1-23n. The VPN Cipher is AES256_SHA1. SonicWall lists the prerequisites for a Mac to connect to the SSL VPN as SonicOS 5.8.1.0 or later, and AES256_SHA1.
