I created an account with DynDNS back in 2001 when it was a free service. I didn't have to do it, but I donated $30 in their effort to raise money to keep the service going. I have always been happy with DynDNS until yesterday. I forgot my password and, like an idiot, I hadn't updated my email address with DynDNS. Then DynDNS update for Apple came along- and what a relief that was! I didn't have to update my IP by surfing to the DynDNS site anymore- the app did it automatically. Today I updated with the

It seemed to coincide with DynDNS using a different login process, involving a random key generated by the account holder, and that key being used as the password. I don't think you will find BT are blocking DYNDNS. I think the issue is the change of login for DYNDNS.
