What that means is that for getting the best speed possible, you should be direct in the line-of-sight of your router. So The only work around is to have a travel router and buy the ethernet adapter and have it connected to the travel router while the travel router is connected to the 5ghz house router. My computer and phone picks up the 5ghz and I get good speeds. I'm only having problems because the firestick doesn't see the higher channels.
